Children with Down syndrome: Communication Issues
Thanks to deinstitutionalization and medical progress, life expectancy for for individuals with Down syndrome has reached 50 years or more and is expected to increase. It is important these individuals learn the necessary social and cognitive skills to allow them to live independently and to be a productive members of society. Early education, such as full inclusion, can help to establish these skills. details
