Workshop for Professionals:
Literacy Assessment and Intevention

Children with language disorders frequently struggle in reading and literacy skills. The clinical and educational practice of speech-language pathologists and educators includes the assessment of reading, writing, listening and language disorders. This workshop, time and location to be announced, will prepare families and professionals to understand their role in assessment, intervention, and the teaching of reading and writing with children who are language and learning disabled.

Audience: This workshop is of interest to speech-language pathologists, reading specialists, special education teachers, other professionals, and families of pre-school and school-aged children with reading problems.
